Guardian ad Litem

Atty. Kohn accepts appointments to represent the best interests of an individual, whether it be a child or an adult.  She passionately gives a voice to their needs. She serves in guardianships and protective placements, family and paternity matters, child abuse and neglect cases, termination of parental rights and adoption, and juveniles in need of protection and services cases.

Adversary Counsel

Atty. Kohn represents individuals facing a possible mental commitment or protective placement. She works to assist her clients understand their right to be heard, get further examinations, and have full due process hearings.

Children’s Law

Atty. Kohn assists parents in child in need of protection and services case files with great sensitivity and understanding as they work through challenges with children and the family. She also assists parents in termination of parental rights case files, defending the family and the right to be a parent.

Criminal Law
